The applied external pressures for each system size of DUT-8 NCs at which the phase transition starts. In general, the external pressures are nearly in the same range from approximately 400–800 bar for all investigated systems, independent of the conformation. For an increasing system size the external pressure has to be slightly higher, but the variation is smaller compared to the model system.
