The applied external pressures for each system size of DUT-128 NCs at which the phase transition starts. For larger system sizes higher pressures are needed to initialize the closing, roughly converging at a size of 6 × 6 × 6. In general, the necessary external pressures are in the same range for the DUT-8 NCs and lower compared to the model system.
