Airway management for esophagectomy. Many different airway management options exist. The best choice will take into consideration the type of surgery performed (OE versus MIE versus RAMIE), the expertise of anesthesiologist and various patient-related factors (such as a predicted difficult airway). When OLV is planned, in the absence of any contraindications, DLT would probably be the preferred choice.
