FAM99A blocked the translation of gp130 and gp80 via binding to EIF4B. (A) Western blotting assay was used to detect the protein levels of gp130 and gp80 in HCC cells after the transfection of pcDNA3.1/FAM99A and treatment of MG132. (B) Silver staining and differential band mass spectrometry assays were conducted to analyze the binding protein pulled down by FAM99A. (C) Western blotting verified the presence of EIF4B and JAK2 in the products pulled down by biotinylated FAM99A.
