TRIM37 overexpression attenuates the protective role of 942‐5p in LPS‐treated A549 cells. A549 cells were co‐transfected with miR‐942‐5p mimic and TRIM37 before the treatment with 1000 ng/ml of LPS for 72 h. (A) The transfection efficiency of TRIM37 overexpression was determined by Western blotting. (B) CCK‐8 assay was performed to reveal cell viability. (C) Apoptotic rate was analysed by flow cytometry. (D) The expression levels of apoptosis‐related proteins (Bcl‐2 and Bax) were measured by Western blotting. (E) The secretion levels of TNF‐α, IL‐6 and IL‐1β were assessed by ELISA. Data were expressed as mean ±SD from three independent experiments (n = 3). Differences between two groups were assessed by Student's t‐test.
