Cardiac Channelopathies
I Permanent pacemaker implantation is indicated in channelopathy patients with pause-dependent, clinically significant VT; ICD implantation may be considered as a reasonable alternative. C-LD [40]
IIb Permanent pacemaker implantation may be considered as adjunctive therapy in patients with long QT syndrome and functional 2:1 AV block. C-LD [41]
IIb Permanent pacemaker implantation may be considered as adjunctive therapy in patients with long QT syndrome or other channelopathies where a faster heart rate may decrease the arrhythmia burden or symptoms due to bradycardia. C-LD [42]
IIINo benefit Atrial pacing alone is not indicated in patients with complete atrial standstill due to the high potential for noncapture of the myocardium. C-LD
