A The Cochran-Armitage trend test was used to confirm the constant trend toward higher prevalence of SCD with an increasing number of risk factors. B A summary chart of risk factors was established. A total of eight factors were found associated with SCD including four stable factors proved by two multivariate models and four suggestive factors proved by one of the two multivariate models.
