Updating and remapping of ‘social space’ in younger and older adults separately. (a) Main effect of age: older adults showed significantly lower affiliation-coordinates than younger adults. (b) There was no difference of updating-avatars median Δ-angles between agest. Also, younger and older participants’ median Δ-angles of updating-avatars were not significantly different from 0°. (c) The difference of remapping-avatars median Δ-angles between ages was significant. Further, median Δ-angles only significantly differed from 0° in younger adults, not in older adults.
