The mice were exposed to 5 mg Kg–1 HNTs or FHNTs, and the values of urea, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatinine, total protein, and total bilirubin were determined at 48 h and 30 days post-treatment. All parameters were within the range reported as standard by the Charles River Laboratories.
