Model structure and stages of glaucoma progression in patients undergoing glaucoma screening or usual care management. Patients were African-American, between the ages of 50 and 59 years, with no history of glaucoma undergoing universal screening or usual care (sporadic screening that results in 50% of patients with glaucoma being undiagnosed). Patients with diagnosed glaucoma were treated and all patients with glaucoma were at risk of developing new or progressively worsening glaucoma-related vision loss. 

*Confirmatory eye examination identified patients with false-positive frequency-doubling technology results. 1,2 and 3 are probability nodes (+) represents replication of branches at node (n) where n=1,2, or 3.9
