Cytotoxic effects of the combination of 5-FU with (A,B) BenzoTZ-C2-CPP2, (C,D) BTZCA-CPP2 and (E,F) BTZ5CA-CPP2 on the viability (right panel) and cell protein (left panel) content of HT-29 cells. Cell viability and protein content were assessed by MTT and SRB assays, respectively, after 48 h of exposure to each treatment. Results are expressed in the percentage of cell viability relative to untreated control cells. * Indicates p < 0.05 when compared to control.
