Figure 6. — Ccl2 and Ccr2 RNA expression levels decreased in LBI-administered Mertk^−/−Cx3cr1^GFP/+Ccr2^RFP/+ mice. RNA was harvested from retinas of Mertk^+/+Cx3cr1^GFP/+Ccr2^RFP/+ mice (Mertk^+/+) (n = 12) and 4-week-old Mertk^−/−Cx3cr1^GFP/+Ccr2^RFP/+ mice (n = 12) as negative controls. Control (cont) (n = 12), LBI-high (LBI-H) (n = 16), and LBI-low (LBI-l) (n = 12) were provided to mice POD 28–42 for 2 weeks. RNA was harvested from retinas of each group at POD 42. Each RNA expression level was normalized against expression of the housekeeping gene Gapdh. The level of Mertk^+/+ was adjusted to 1. Fold changes in each group are shown. Error bars indicate mean ± standard deviation (S.D). *P < 0.05.
