After inoculation of IAV on day –2, mice were intranasally inoculated with two different doses [1 × 105 CFU/mouse for (A, B) and 1 × 107 CFU/mouse for (C, D)] of S. pneumoniae without anesthesia on day 0. Nasal lavage and blood were collected on day 2 for counting colonies. Each symbol represents individual data.
