Chemical structures of the major active compounds in G. biloba leaves. (A)–bilobalide, (B)–ginkgolide, (C)–isorhamnetin, (D)–kaempferol, (E)–quercetin. Ginkgolides contained in GB belong to the group of diterpenes, whereas bilobalide to sesquiterpenes. The main flavonols of GB leaves are kaempferol, quercetin and isorhamnetin (Belwal et al., 2019).
