Dystrophin was partially restored with a microdystrophin lentiviral construct containing the ∆R4-R23 domain under control of the cardiac NCX1 promotor. Cardiomyocytes were transduced with the lentivirus and given 4 days recovery for dystrophin to express, followed by harvesting conditioned media after 48 h for exosome isolation, and qPCR for exosomal miRNA expression.
