Serum levels of IFN-I and CD4⁺ T cell responses in MDA5^+/- and MDA5^+/+ mice after CB3 and CB4 infection. (A) IFN-α/β Inflammatory cytokine concentrations (pg/mL) were measured from CB4 and CB3 infected MDA5^+/- (n = 7) and MDA5^+/+ (n = 7) mice sera by ELISA. (B) Regulatory T cells (Foxp3⁺ CD4⁺) and effector T cells (CD44^hiCD62^lowCD4⁺ and IFNγ-producing CD4⁺) were isolated from the pancreatic lymph nodes (PLNs) and spleens of CB3 infected MDA5^+/- (n = 5) and MDA5^+/+ (n = 5) mice at day 7 post CB4-infection and were stained with classical activation and maturation marker antibodies for FACS analysis. Results are shown as mean ± SEM of a representative from three independent experiments. *p < 0.05.
