A reaction mixture containing either the UNG from New England Biolabs (NEB), the heat-labile UNG from Boehringer Mannheim (Boehringer), or no UNG was spiked with the indicated number of dUTP-containing A. otitidis PCR products. After PCR, the amount of amplification products (peak area) was measured on the ALFexpress sequencer. Each datum point represent the results of an analysis for at least two samples.
