Minor variations in amino acids. Virus recovered from each tissue was analyzed for its variation compared to the challenge virus sequence. The ratio of variation was <50% in all organs. Only sites with amino acid coverage of  >5 were taken into account. The minor variation at L1430 showed an average variation ratio of 0.1667 (Q to stop) specifically in the eyes.
