The rheological properties of the calcium hydroxide paste formulations: chlorhexidine-free calcium hydroxide paste (CH) and calcium hydroxide with 1% chlorhexidine (CHX) (10 × 10³ mg/L): (a) frequency sweeps: determining G′ and G″ at a constant strain of 0.01%; (b) amplitude sweeps: determining G′ and G″ at a different shear strain; (c) time sweeps: evolution of the storage (G′) and loss (G″) moduli as a function of time at a frequency of 2.5 rad/s at 20 °C; (d) viscosity: shear-thinning evaluation by shear-rate dependent variations in viscosity.
