Major antioxidant parameters were examined in in vivo samples. The result showed that Aβ25–35 ICV. treatment significantly increased oxidative stress in the hippocampus and serum, which was reversed by melittin treatment. To conduct this experiment: Hippocampus tissue and serum were prepared, and ROS, NO, and MDA levels were examined as described in the materials and methods section.
