Effects of Aβ25-35 on ARE-dependent gene expression in U373 cells. Cells were treated with Aβ25-35 (50 µM) for 4, 8, and 16 h. The samples were then analyzed by RT-qPCR to evaluate the mRNA expression of CAT, HO-1, SOD1, SOD2, GCLC and GPX3 genes. Data are calculated relative to GAPDH content, taken as an internal housekeeping gene. Bars are the means ± SEM from three separate experiments, each carried out in duplicate.
