Table 2.

Plasma gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) and creatine kinase (CK) activity in NACQ- and placebo-supplemented horses. Differences in superscripts a and b indicate significant differences with supplementation or exercise. There were no significant effects of NACQ/placebo supplementation, however there was a significant effect of exercise on GGT (p = 0.008 and CK activities (p < 0.001).
