The levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines including IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α were significantly increased in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of the SE+PEG400 group compared with the Control group (A–C). The level of IL-1β was solely significantly attenuated in the hippocampus of SE+0.1TPPU group compared with the SE+PEG400 group (A).
