After the baseline recording, LEV was added to the cell culture and its effects were monitored every 3 min up to 18 min; then, the cell medium was replaced to remove LEV and cell activity was monitored every 30 min up to 3 h and finally, one recording was performed at 24 h. The cultures were kept at 37 °C under a 5% CO₂ atmosphere during the recordings. Data are expressed as mean $\pm$ SEM of four independent experiments.
