CAR-peptide homes to the lungs of OIR mice. Lung (A) and kidney (B) cross sections from normoxic and OIR mice were stained againts FITC to detect the fluorescein-labeled CAR-peptide. Strong CAR-peptide homing was seen in the bronchopulmonary dysplasia which was induced in the OIR animals, adapted from [27], published by Elsevier, 2020. The CAR peptide was seen in the kidney tissue in both normoxic and OIR animals. (N = 6 in OIR and 4 in normoxia). Scale bars represent 100 µm.
