Proliferation activity of Colon26 and HT29 cells. Cells were seeded in 96-well plates at a density of 2.5 × 10⁴ cells/well and were incubated for 72 h. During cultivation the WST-1 assay was performed at three time points: 24 h, 48 h and 72 h, to assess cell growth. The optical density was measured at 450 nm using an ELISA reader. The error bars represent the standard errors of the mean OD at 450 nm assessed with WST-1 method (SEM). Statistically significant differences between the two cell lines in the OD were analyzed by Dunnett’s test and are denoted as * p < 0.01 and ** p < 0.0001.
