The decrease in the prevalence of CP5 isolates from 1989-1990 to 1993-1994 (11/69 to 0/30) was significant (P = 0.014, Fisher's exact test).
The increase in the prevalence of CP8 isolates from 1989-1990 to 1991-1992 (1/68 to 7/40) was significant (P = 0.007, Fisher's exact test). Later, the prevalence of CP8 isolates from 1991-1992 to 1995-1996 decreased significantly from 7/40 to 0/35 (P = 0.017, Fisher's exact test).
Forty-four isolates from 1989 plus 25 isolates from 1990.
