Differences in minimal biofilm eradication concentrations (MBEC) of octenidine dihydrochloride (OCT), chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX), povidone-iodine (PVP-I), and polyhexanide (PHMB) obtained in three media: tryptic soy broth (TSB), tryptic soy broth supplemented with 1% glucose (TSB+G), and Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM). The differences were statistically significant for p < 0.05 and referred to as p < 0.033 (*), p < 0.002 (**), p < 0.001 (***); ns refers to difference being statistically insignificant. Substances for which MBEC was not obtained, such as GRAN, MICR, and GENTA, are not included in the table.
