Exogenous TGFβ impairs CAR T-cell cytokine secretion and proliferation in vitro. A TGFβ is able to inhibit IFN-γ secretion of MSLN- or CLDN6-specific CAR 4-1BBζ T-cells towards antigen-pulsed iDCs in a broad dose range (5-20 ng/mL) and on a short time line (20 h). B TGFβ is also able to inhibit proliferation of MSLN- or CLDN6-specific CAR 4-1BBζ T-cells towards antigen-pulsed iDCs in a broad dose range (5-20 ng/mL) and on a long time line (5 days).
