hCNT1 is decreased in tumors vs healthy adjacent tissue in colorectal cancer (CRC) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). A hCNT1 mRNA levels in CRC (n = 17) or PDAC (n = 9) clinical samples, comparing tumor and normal adjacent tissue. Statistical significance was determined with Student’s t test. B Immunofluorescence images of hCNT1 protein (green) in four, paired, independent clinical samples of tumor and normal adjacent CRC and PDAC tissue. hCNT1 was detected using a polyclonal anti-CNT1 antibody. All the images were obtained under the same magnification. Scale bars, 75 µm. C Patient and tumor samples characteristics, including the number of samples in each category. s.d., standard deviation; RS, resectable; LA, locally advanced
