SP_early negatively correlated with (c) CD8⁺ TCs exited (R² > 0.92, p < 0.005) and (d) CD4⁺ TCs exited (R² > 0.91, p < 0.005). (e). The mean number of cognate TCs contacted increased as SP_early was lowered to 0.1 at each V_max but overall decreased with V_max.
