Effects of 30 and 40 mg/kg OV329 injected intraperitoneally on the ADT (A), the generalized seizure threshold (GST, B), and the seizure severity (SS) at ADT (C) and GST (D) in rats (n = 6). Saline (S) injections served as pre- and post-drug controls. Data are expressed as mean+SEM (A, B) and as box plots with whiskers (min to max; C, D). At 40 mg/kg OV329, none of the animals expressed generalized motor seizures, and the GST was set at 1000 μA (B) and the SS at GST was set at score 0 (D) for data evaluation.
