The effect of increasing concentrations of activator dianion on T100’A (Figure 4A4D) and D37G (Figure 4E4F) variant OMPDC-catalyzed decarboxylation of FO ([FO]o = 5 mM) to form product FU for reactions at 25 °C, pH 7.0 (10 mM MOPS) at I = 0.15 (NaCl). The slopes of these linear correlations are equal to (kcat/Km)obs (M−1 s−1) for variant-catalyzed decarboxylation at the specified concentration of activator.
