Eclosion rates are reduced in all fly genotypes but more in homozygous park²⁵ flies with park²⁵ feces transfer. (A) Total eclosion rates were determined in control, heterozygous (Het) park²⁵ and homozygous (Hom) park²⁵ flies based on the total number of pupae for each genotype. (B) The relative eclosion reduction caused by the park²⁵ fecal transfer, calculated as a percentage of the control feces eclosion, was determined. Data are presented as mean and SEM. Asterisks represent the results of a post-hoc Tukey’s multiple comparisons test. Asterisks inside the bars compare the two feces groups within each fly genotype. * = P < 0.05 and **** = P < 0.0001. Results are from 45 separate vials in each group.
