Encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) infection degrades HSP27 protein expression in A549 cells. A549 cells were infected with EMCV at an multiplicity of infection (MOI) of 0.1 for 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, or 24 h. (A) The expression of HSP27, VP1, HSP90β, GRP78, and HSP70 were analyzed by immunoblotting. GAPDH was used as a loading control. (B) HSP27 mRNA levels were measured by RT-qPCR. (C) Cells and supernatant were harvested, and viral titers were determined by TCID₅₀ assay (Reed-Muench method).
