(A) Quantification of responses for each ranking on the scale of 1 to 5 demonstrated that nonusers perceived barriers to be more significant compared with users. (B) Quantification of responses ranked as 5 (significant barrier) for each potential barrier indicated that “cost of genetic testing” and the “availability or ease of testing” were perceived as the most important barrier types by both users and nonusers of genetic tests.
