1Phase 1 diets were fed from days 0 to 7 (approximately 5.6 to 6.1 kg) and phase 2 diets were fed from days 7 to 21 (approximately 6.1 to 11.6 kg). Both phases were manufactured at the Kansas State University Poultry Unit (Manhattan, KS). A common diet, withoutZnO or yeast probiotics, was fed during phase 3 from days 21 to 42 (approximately 11.6 to 24.0 kg). The common diet was manufactured by Hubbard Feeds (Beloit, KS).
