Effect of the ethanolic extract of D. esculentum on climbing ability of flies expressing Aβ42, (A–C) flies expressing Aβ42 (chr.2), and (D–F) flies expressing Aβ42 (chr.3). AD-free flies (elav-Gal4) were cultured on a normal medium, while AD flies (Aβ42) were cultured on a medium containing deionized water (DI), 1% DMSO, 125 µg/mL and 250 µg/mL of D. esculentum and 10 µM donepezil for the indicated days and then assayed for climbing ability.
