RRMEC exposure to o-methyl-d-glucopyranose for 6 days caused (B) a significant decrease in syndecan-3 expression (*p<0.05) and (D) a significant increase in CD44 levels (**p<0.01). However, o-methyl-d-glucopyranose exposure did not lead to any significant changes in the expression of syndecan-1 (A) or glypican-1 (C). No substantial changes were observed in the expression of syndecan-1, syndecan-3, glypican-1, or CD44 when RRMEC were treated with mannitol, NaCl, or L-glucose.
