Involvement of TRPA1 channels in various NPDs through different metabolic markers. TRPA1 channels modulate various metabolic parameters such as Ghrelin, Leptin, GLP-1, Adiponectin in the body which are involved in the pathophysiology of various NPDs. They also regulate insulin release from pancreatic β-cells, pro-inflammatory cytokine release and lipid balance in the body.
