MIA by both poly I:C and resiquimod induces an immune response in maternal plasma. All measured immune molecules were upregulated in the plasma of mothers following resiquimod compared to control (PBS). Poly I:C caused significant upregulation most of measured immune molecules except CCL11 (Eotaxin) and CXCL1 (KC) compared to PBS. The individual dots are shown along with mean ± SEM. The data were box-cox transformed and analysed by one way-ANOVA, Fisher LSD post-hoc test (n = 4 independent samples in each condition; *p ≤ 0.05, **p ≤ 0.005, ***p ≤ 0.001, ****p ≤ 0.0001).
