The effect of GO-PEI-PEG-CPP/siRNA on breast cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis in vitro. (A–D) The MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with siRNA, GO-PEI-PEG/siRNA, or GO-PEI-PEG-CPP/siRNA. (A) The cell viability was analyzed by MTT assays. (B) The cell proliferation was measured by colony formation assays. (C) The cell apoptosis was detected by Annexin-V/PI apoptosis detection kit. Histogram showed the portion of apoptotic cells. (D) The expression of Rictor, Akt, p70s6k, and the phosphorylation of Akt and p70s6k were determined by Western blot analysis. Data are presented as mean ± SD. Statistic significant differences were indicated: *P<0.05, **P < 0.01.
