ChLorhexidine effect In the oral and lung MicroBiota (CLIMB) study consort diagram. CLIMB assessed 511 individuals for eligibility. Of these, 467 were excluded and 44 were randomised. Four participants (all assigned to the chlorhexidine group) discontinued the study. Forty participants completed the study.
