RFLP profile generated by digestion with HinfI (35).
RAPD profiles were generated with three different primers: NA (5′GCGATCCCCA3′) (1), JWFR (5′GGTCCGTGTTTCAAGACG3′), and JWFF (5′GCATATCAATAAGCGGAGGAAAAG3′) (10). Observable band staining intensity differences and variation of one band were disregarded (3).
A designation consisting of a letter and a number indicates the isolate was isolated before antifungal and/or hygienic therapy; a designation consisting of the same letter and number, as well as a prime symbol, indicates that the isolate was isolated after antifungal and/or hygienic therapy.
−, the isolates in the pair were not identical; +, the isolates in the pair were identical.
