Changes (delta) in total cfDNA (A) or nDNA (B) levels in plasma in patients with SLE (n=33) do not correlate with the evolution of disease activity at follow-up (delta SLEDAI); Delta-mtDNA levels (C), in contrary, correlate significantly with delta SLEDAI at follow-up.
