PyLAE has higher enrichment scores compared to the whole-genome approach. Comparing the enrichment scores between differentially enriched pathways (P-value < 0.01), in 91 cases, PyLAE resulted in higher enrichment scores and 41 in lower scores for African Americans. If the significance cut-off is lowered, PyLAE results in a higher number of differentially enriched pathways.
