Stimulation of sGC in vitro by GTPyS. Guanylyl cyclase was measured in lysates with Mg²⁺-GTP in the absence or presence of 50 μM GTPγS. The increase of activity by GTPγS in the mutant is presented as % relative to the increase by GTPγS in the parental strain of that mutant (see Materials and Methods for definition). Data are the means and SEM of two to five experiments with triplicate determinations. See Figure 1 caption for indications of significance.
