N6 inhibits HTNV without direct virucidal activity (A) The cytotoxicity assay showed that the survive rate of A549 cells treated by N6 ranging from 1 to 100 μM was more than 80%, and CC50 of N6 was 77.08 ± 0.56 μM (B) N7 inhibited the proliferation of A549 cells with CC50 at 64.78 ± 0.53 μM (C) N6 and N7 displayed an anti-HTNV activity in a dose-dependent manner with EC50 at 7.06 ± 1.05 μM and 11 ± 0.76 μM, respectively (D) Western blot assay showed that pretreatment of 10 μM N6 could not affect HTNV infectivity at 96 hpi at room temperature (lane b) or 37°C (lane c).
