Protein structure determination to infer novel drug targets. Genetic epilepsy generates proteins encoded by mutated genes that lead to structural proteins alterations. Analytical tools can be applied to understand differences in protein structures and lead to an improvement in the prediction of binding sites that potentially deliver novel and repurposed drugs.
