MS horizontal plates containing MS nutrients, 1% sucrose, pH 5.7–5.8. Store MS plates at 4°C for up to 1 week.

Adjust the MS nutrients pH to 5.7–5.8 with 0.5 M KOH, and autoclave at 110°C for at least 30 min. Cool to ∼60°C and pour into a disposable Petri dish after autoclave.
